Thermo Fisher Scientific, multinational products and scientific solutions, such as equipment for genetic mapping, inaugurated on Thursday (13th) a future lab, called Customer Experience Center (CEC). Located in Pinheiros (Sao PAulo), the facility supports the company’s customer base expansion in Latin America.
The goal is to become a laboratory school, providing opportunities for training and technology, and application support for customers from various fields such as health, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, research and government. The CEC will also support other niches such as food security, environmental monitoring, and oil and gas.
Among other solutions, Thermo also promotes analysis of organic and inorganic substances, and will be responsible for brand new anti-doping laboratory that will be used in upcoming sporting events hosted by Brazil.

The expansion of Thermo Fisher today with a turnover of $ 17 billion and 50,000 employees in 50 countries, highlights the demand for advances in the region in health, biotechnology, pharmacy, water quality and air, and food safety.
